Episode 13 - Sylvia Hall - Cultivating a Healthy Mental Mindset

This is the Wake To Make podcast where we support you, the maker, so your making can support you. We’re a husband and wife team inspiring, empowering and equipping makers, just like you, to show you how to design your lives in such a way that your art works as hard as you do and to come along side you to build a thriving creative business.

Cultivating a healthy mental mindset in life is an important aspect of running a business for any maker. Self-sabotaging thoughts can hinder business growth and stop you from sharing what you have to offer with the world. It’s important to understand that your mindset affects the way you see the world and that in turns affects how you react towards situations.

Sylvia Hall, a life coach, is sharing the tools we need to cultivate a healthy mindset, how to empower ourselves by adjusting the way we see situations and how to stop the cycle of self-sabotage.

Sylvia is a life coach for ambitious entrepreneurs and she helps people stress less and experience a more satisfying version of success. She’s a mom of two, a gut health advocate, and gearing up to launch her own line of probiotics. She’s written a book of poems, created an abstract painting, and practices regular journal writing.

Today Sylvia is sharing her story and how she works with clients to manage their thoughts (60,000 – 70.000 thoughts a day) by forming new neural pathways in their minds to thrive in both life and business. She is also sharing her research and knowledge on the connection between gut health and the brain, how specific strains of bacteria are linked to helping with ailments in the mental health world and how probiotics can assist in healing the gut and therefore positively affect your brain function and health.
