What is branding and why is it important? We get asked this question a lot and another one is, how to connect with your audience through your brand. One way to connect with your audience through your branding is by adding a personal touch to it.
People are more likely to buy from you because they feel connected to you and brand. Your copy, visuals, story, website layout and your mission all form part of your brand and by personalizing those elements your ideal client can connect with you on a deeper level.
Today we're sharing a few simple and easy ways you can personalize your brand to connect with your audience and stand out in your industry.
5 Simple Ways To Personalize Your Brand
1. The Iceberg Rule
Your movement, vision, and mission around your brand are under the water like the base of the iceberg. Your logo and visuals are the tips above the water. So make sure your logo stands out and is your signature because it's the part that is seen. Make it more personal by using your signature if you're unsure of what logo to use. Make it personal and make your logo reflect you and the things below the water.
2. Wear Your Brand Colors
When you have a home and closet that matches your brand colors, you're likely to always look on-brand in any pictures or at any events. Find brand colors that work with your skin tone and that you love so that your brand becomes known for those colors.
3. Take Your Own Photography
This one is a tough one from some, but learning to take your own photos will help personalize the content you're putting out there. If you're using stock photos try and find ones that feel like you and that match your brand.
4. Use Imagery Of You Working
Create a space in your home that is on-brand to make it easy for you to take photos of you working that match your brand. It will connect in your audience's mind that you and your brand are intertwined. They can connect with you when they see how you ARE your brand.
5. Sprinkling Quote Cards Created By You
You share snippets of your knowledge and expertize that people can share. It's an easy way for your audience to conenct with you and share it with others.
